Product descriptions and the item you buy
Review the description, price, quantity and selected options before ordering. A listing for a digital crochet pattern supplies the described instructions or file; a photograph of a finished project does not mean that the finished object, yarn, tools or a printed copy are included. Check the stated language, skill level, file format and any compatibility requirements.
For physical goods, check dimensions, materials, quantity and any care information. For genuinely personalised items, check the agreed specification before ordering. Natural variation or handmade production does not excuse a product that materially fails to match its description or required quality.
Our Etsy catalogue and direct website catalogue are separate offers. Do not assume that an item, bonus, discount or delivery arrangement on Etsy is included in a direct website order unless the direct listing says so.
Placing an order and contract confirmation
Review your basket and correct errors before submitting the order with an obligation to pay. Supply accurate contact and delivery information and check the final total. Keep the order information sent to you and contact us promptly if it is incorrect or does not arrive.
Submitting an order is your offer to purchase. Our acceptance is communicated in a message confirming that we accept the order. An acknowledgement of receipt or a temporary payment authorisation is not, by itself, that acceptance. This does not permit us to disregard a contract that has already been formed by our communications or conduct.
If we cannot supply an item, we will explain the situation and refund any payment due for an unsupplied item. We will not impose a higher price or substitute a materially different item without your agreement. We remain responsible for obligations arising from an accepted contract.
Prices, currency and payment
Prices and direct-store transactions are in GBP (£). Consumer prices include applicable taxes. Free shipping applies to our UK physical-delivery service. The final amount payable must be made clear before you commit to the order; optional paid extras require your agreement.
Use the payment options presented for your transaction at checkout. A bank or payment provider may perform authentication or authorisation checks. A pending entry is not necessarily a completed charge. If your payment account uses another currency, your provider may apply its own conversion terms. For help with payment errors or refunds, see the Payment Policy.
Delivery of physical goods
Our merchant-provided estimates are 1–2 business days for handling, 2–3 business days for carrier transit, and 3–5 business days estimated total delivery. The total includes handling; it is not a further period to add to transit. See the Shipping Policy for the scope and help with delays.
Delivery is due within the agreed period, or, where no period has been agreed, without undue delay and normally within 30 days of the contract. If an essential agreed date is missed, we refuse delivery, or a suitable additional deadline is missed where the law requires one, cancellation and refund rights may arise. A delivery estimate does not remove those rights.
Where we arrange delivery, risk remains with us until you or a person you identify takes physical possession, subject to the legal exception where you independently commission a carrier we did not offer. A tracking status alone is not conclusive proof of receipt.
Digital supply and custom work
For any digital content offered on this website, its listing and confirmation must identify what is supplied, how it is delivered and the timing. Physical handling and carrier transit do not describe electronic delivery. An instant-download statement on Etsy does not determine direct-store supply timing.
We must obtain the required express consent and acknowledgement before beginning digital supply during the statutory cancellation period in a way that ends the cancellation right. We must also provide the required durable confirmation. Personalised digital work is assessed under the rules appropriate to digital content and any separately contracted service, rather than automatically under the exception for personalised physical goods.
Cancellation, returns and exchanges
The Return and Refund Policy explains statutory cancellation, product faults and our additional 30-calendar-day physical return window. For that additional window, notify us within 30 calendar days after delivery and send eligible goods back within 14 calendar days after notification. Voluntary exchanges depend on availability; no restocking fee applies.
For most physical online purchases, statutory cancellation gives 14 calendar days after delivery to notify us and another 14 calendar days to send goods back. Seven days is not a replacement statutory limit. Different rules apply to digital content and genuinely personalised goods. Free outward shipping does not itself establish free change-of-mind returns.
Refunds follow the applicable legal deadline and the procedure in the Return and Refund Policy. A voluntary return condition cannot remove remedies for goods or digital content that fail legal standards.
Digital files and intellectual property
Buying a file gives you the rights described in the relevant offer; it does not transfer ownership of copyright in the pattern or other content. Any product-specific licence, including permissions concerning sale of finished items, should be checked before purchase. We do not impose a new blanket ban on selling finished work where the product's agreed licence permits it.
Website content can belong to us or other rights holders. You may retain information needed for your purchase and records. Please contact us about any proposed use requiring permission or a suspected rights infringement, identifying the material involved.
Website use and accounts
Do not submit fraudulent orders, interfere with other users, introduce malicious code or misuse account access. Keep sign-in credentials confidential. These rules do not restrict legitimate criticism, complaints or consumer remedies.
The Privacy Policy explains personal-information processing. Accepting purchase terms does not give blanket permission for optional marketing or tracking. See the Cookies Policy for related information.
Complaints and responsibility
Contact us with the order reference, what went wrong and the remedy you seek. We will consider the issue and explain the next steps. You may seek independent advice, use a payment provider's applicable dispute process or exercise legal rights without completing an arbitrary internal waiting period. We will supply any dispute-resolution information required by applicable law.
We do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory rights concerning description, quality, delivery, digital content or remedies.
Governing law and future changes
These terms use the law of England and Wales, without taking away mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in the courts available where you live, including Scotland or Northern Ireland. If a term cannot lawfully be enforced, the remainder continues so far as the law permits.
Changes apply to future transactions and do not retrospectively remove rights under an existing order. Specific information and commitments forming part of your contract remain relevant. For help, visit Contact Information.
